Rule reminder

Extended pseudo-clefts use specific noun phrases as the cleft subject: 'La cosa che mi disturba è il rumore' (The thing that bothers me is the noise), 'L'unico che capisce sono io' (The only one who understands is me), 'Il motivo per cui sono qui è semplice' (The reason why I am here is simple). These are more specific and often more formal than 'quello che' pseudo-clefts, and can carry nuances of uniqueness, causality, or restriction.
