Rule reminder

After 'come se', use the imperfetto congiuntivo for situations unreal at the same time as the main verb (present unreal), and the trapassato congiuntivo for situations unreal before the main verb (past unreal). Example: Parla come se sapesse tutto (= he doesn't know, present unreal). Parla come se avesse vissuto lì (= he didn't live there, past unreal).
