'Prendere' (to take) is one of the most collocationally rich verbs in Italian. It appears in dozens of fixed expressions: 'prendere una decisione', 'prendere parte', 'prendere atto', 'prendere posizione', 'prendere in considerazione', 'prendere provvedimenti'. At B2, knowing the full range of 'prendere' collocations is essential.
