Textual Cohesion — Coesione Testuale·Completing Cohesive Paragraphs — Journalism
💡

Rule reminder

Journalistic writing requires tight cohesion: clear reference chains (readers cannot re-read easily), precise lexical synonymy (avoiding repetition while staying accurate), and appropriate connectives. The journalist's goal: every sentence must clearly connect to the previous one. At B2 level, practise completing journalistic paragraphs by choosing the most cohesive continuation.
