Textual Cohesion — Coesione Testuale·Full Text Analysis — Narrative Cohesion
💡

Rule reminder

In narrative texts, cohesion is achieved through: consistent REFERENCE CHAINS (tracking characters and objects), TEMPORAL CONNECTIVES (prima, poi, infine, il giorno dopo), LEXICAL CHAINS (words from the same semantic field), and ELLIPSIS (shared predicates omitted). At B2 level, you should analyse how these devices work together in extended passages.
