Rule reminder

'Rendersi conto' (to realize, to become aware) is always followed by 'di': rendersi conto di + noun, or rendersi conto di + infinitive (same subject). When subjects differ, use 'rendersi conto che + indicative'. It expresses a cognitive realization, not a sensory one.
