Rule reminder

Like 'vedere' and 'sentire', the verbs 'ascoltare' (to listen to) and 'guardare' (to watch) also take a bare infinitive when the subject witnesses or perceives an action directly. Never use the gerund (-ando/-endo) with these verbs.
