Rule reminder

Common errors in Italian nominalisation: (1) using a non-existent suffix form ('il richiedimento' instead of 'la richiesta'), (2) using the wrong article before a nominalisation (gender errors), (3) confusing a nominalisation with a similar word (e.g., 'discussione' vs 'disputa'), (4) using an infinitive where a nominalisation is required in formal style, (5) using 'di' instead of contracting with the article.
