Rule reminder
A key feature of nominal style is replacing subordinate clauses with noun phrases. This makes sentences more compact and formal. Pattern: 'dopo che hanno firmato il contratto' → 'dopo la firma del contratto'. 'quando il presidente arriverà' → 'all'arrivo del presidente'. The conjunction and verb are replaced by a preposition + nominalisation + (di + noun).
