Rule reminder

Comprehensive review: 'a meno che (non)' + subjunctive = unless; 'tranne/eccetto/salvo' + noun = except for; 'tranne che/eccetto che/salvo che' + subjunctive = except that; 'purché/a patto che/a condizione che' + subjunctive = provided that; 'fuorché' + noun = except (formal); 'fatte salve' + noun = subject to (legal). Word order: with pronouns, they go between 'a meno che' and 'non'.
