Rule reminder

'Tranne', 'eccetto', and 'salvo' are interchangeable exceptive prepositions. With nouns/pronouns they mean 'except (for)': 'tutti tranne lui'. With a conjugated verb clause they become conjunctions and take 'che' + subjunctive: 'tutti, tranne che tu non voglia venire'. With infinitives (same subject): 'tranne + infinitive' is also used.
