Rule reminder

Tranne, eccetto, and salvo can be followed by: (1) a noun or pronoun directly — 'Vengono tutti, tranne Marco'; (2) an infinitive — 'Ho fatto tutto, tranne studiare'; (3) 'che' + subjunctive when a full clause with a different subject follows — 'Fa tutto, tranne che tu glielo chieda.'
