At B2 level, word formation mastery means: (1) producing correctly formed words from roots, (2) distinguishing near-identical forms with different meanings, (3) choosing register-appropriate vocabulary, and (4) using morphological knowledge to decode unfamiliar words. This final exercise tests all four skills together.
