Rule reminder

Exclamations and interjections are reported using specific verbs: esclamare (to exclaim), gridare (to shout), lamentarsi che (to complain that), gioire del fatto che (to rejoice that), sorprendersi che (to be surprised that), meravigliarsi che, maledire il fatto che. The exclamative sentence is restructured as a declarative or subjunctive clause.
