Rule reminder

Different reporting verbs have specific structures: promettere di + infinitive (promise), avvertire che + clause (warn), negare di + infinitive (deny), assicurare che + clause (assure), minacciare di + infinitive (threaten), sperare di + infinitive (hope). The infinitive used is the passato (di aver fatto) when the action precedes the reporting.
