Rule reminder

The congiuntivo imperfetto is used when the main clause verb is in a past tense or conditional. It expresses a simultaneous or subsequent action in the subordinate clause. Formation: -ARE verbs → -assi, -assi, -asse, -assimo, -aste, -assero; -ERE/-IRE verbs → -essi/-issi pattern.
