Rule reminder

Demonstratives as cohesion devices: 'questo/questa/questi/queste' refers to something just mentioned (anaphoric) or about to be mentioned (cataphoric). 'Quello/quella/quelli/quelle' refers to something more distant or previously mentioned. 'Tale/tali' (formal) = such/this, referring to a concept just stated. 'Quest'ultimo / quest'ultima' = the latter. 'Il suddetto / la suddetta' (very formal) = the aforementioned.
