Rule reminder

Business Italian has fixed epistolary formulas: 'a seguito del colloquio del' (following the meeting of), 'vi trasmettiamo in allegato' (we are sending you herewith), 'come concordato in sede di' (as agreed at), 'facendo seguito alla Sua del' (further to your letter of), 'in attesa di un cortese riscontro' (awaiting your kind reply). These formulas signal professionalism and cannot be replaced with conversational equivalents.
