Rule reminder

Bureaucratic Italian has fixed formulas that cannot be substituted with everyday language: 'si comunica che' (it is hereby communicated that), 'si decreta' (it is decreed), 'visto il decreto' (having regard to the decree), 'considerato che' (whereas / given that), 'su proposta di' (on the proposal of). These are performative formulas with legal force.
