Rule reminder

Legal Italian uses a range of exceptive formulas in contracts, terms of service, and regulations. Key phrases: 'salvo diversa indicazione' (unless otherwise indicated), 'salvo accordo contrario' (unless otherwise agreed), 'fatte salve le disposizioni' (without prejudice to the provisions), 'eccetto quanto previsto' (except as provided), 'a meno che non sia diversamente stabilito' (unless otherwise established). These create the default rules and their exceptions in legal documents.
