Rule reminder

In formal correspondence, prefer 'a meno che (non)', 'salvo che (non)', and 'a condizione che' + subjunctive. Avoid informal shortcuts. Fixed phrases like 'salvo imprevisti' (barring unforeseen events) and 'salvo diversa indicazione' (unless otherwise indicated) are very common.
