Rule reminder

When the consecutive clause focuses on the quantity or intensity of an action (verb), use: verb + 'così tanto/tanto + che + indicative'. Ha studiato così tanto che è esaurito. / Ha pianto tanto che si è addormentata. 'Tanto' can also precede the verb: Tanto ha insistito che alla fine ho ceduto.
