Rule reminder

-ezza and -ità both derive abstract nouns from adjectives, but they attach to different adjective classes. -ezza attaches to adjectives ending in -o/-a (bello → bellezza, triste → tristezza, grande → grandezza). -ità is a learned suffix, typically from Latin -itas, and attaches to adjectives of Latin origin (facile → facilità, capace → capacità, reale → realtà).
