💡

Rule reminder

Advanced false friends often appear in everyday Italian conversation. 'Geniale' does NOT only mean genial/friendly — it primarily means brilliant or ingenious. 'Formidabile' in Italian is very positive (terrific/great), not threatening. 'Educato' means well-mannered/polite, not educated.
