Rule reminder

When the subject of the main clause and the subordinate clause is the same (or unspecified), use the infinitive: È necessario studiare. When the subjects differ, use 'che + congiuntivo': È necessario che lui studi. This rule applies to: è necessario, è opportuno, è importante, è fondamentale, è indispensabile, è consigliabile.
