Rule reminder

The construction 'più...più' (the more...the more) and 'meno...meno' (the less...the less) express proportional relationships. The verb is usually omitted or implied in the first clause: Più studia, più capisce. Meno mangi, meno hai fame. Mixed: Più lavora, meno guadagna.
