Rule reminder
CILS B2 and CELI B2 essays are evaluated on coherence, cohesion, and lexical range. Examiners look for: variety of connectives (not repeating 'quindi' ten times), correct punctuation, connectives matched to logical function, and register consistency. Overly colloquial connectives (ma, però, anche) reduce the score.
A CILS B2 candidate writes: 'Ma il problema è grave. Però ci sono soluzioni. Però costano molto. Ma vale la pena provare.' What is the main error?
