Rule reminder

Newspaper Italian uses specific collocations for reporting events: 'raggiungere un accordo', 'adottare misure', 'sollevare una questione', 'lanciare un appello', 'registrare un aumento'. These differ from everyday spoken Italian and cannot be replaced by generic verbs without sounding unnatural or amateurish.
