Rule reminder

'Qualunque' and 'qualsiasi' (whatever/whichever) trigger the subjunctive when they introduce a hypothetical subordinate clause. They are fully interchangeable. When used with 'cosa' (qualunque cosa / qualsiasi cosa = whatever), the subjunctive is always required.
